The low-pressure area over the southwest Bay of Bengal is very likely to continue to move west-northwestwards towards the Tamil Nadu coast close to Northern Sri Lanka during the next 24 hours. Temporarily very strong winds accompanied
with heavy rainfalls and very rough seas are likely over aforementioned sea areas.

SCT Showers/ T' Showers in lakshadweep and Basses
ISOL Showers/ T' Showers elsewhere.
Winds:-
strong NW'ly to W'ly winds over Northern part of SL west.
