The Deep Depression over westcentral Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards and intensified
further into Cyclonic Storm ‘JAWAD’ and lay centered at 1130 hrs IST of today, the 3rd December 2021,
over westcentral of Bengal near Lat. 14.5°N and Long. 85.5°E. Very strong winds
of (50-60) kmph gusting up to 70 kmph with very rough seas will be expected these sea areas.

Shear line is approximately along: 02N 60E, 07N 70E, 10N 80E, 07N 90E, 06N 100E
ITCZ is approximately along: 01S 60E, 02S 70E, 03S 80E, 03S 90E, 01S 100E

North of Shear line
West of 73E :NE'ly /(10-20) kts.
Inbetween 73E and 81E :NE'ly or Variable/(05-15) kts.
East of 81E :Anticlockwise /(15-25) kts; gusting up to 30 kts

In between Shear Line and ITCZ
West of 90E :NW'ly to W'ly/(10-20)kts.
East of 90E :NW'ly/(05-15) kts.

South of ITCZ
West of 75E :Variable/(05-10) kts.
East of 75E :SE'ly to SW'ly/(10-20) kts; gusting up to 25kts in sections 80 and 85.

OCNL Showers / T’Showers in sections : 40.
